The Chestnut Burr and Me.

Who thinks that chestnut burrs are harmful due to its looks? A couple of days ago, while taking a walk through the forest, I was shocked with how many chestnut burrs I saw laying on the ground. I never remember finding chestnut burrs on the ground when I took a walk. Just like the chestnut burr, being blended in with the ground, I am a type of person who usually does not like the spotlight, or the attention. Although I do not like the attention, this does not mean I don’t like socializing. Until now, I believed that chestnut burrs were sharp, harmful, and the colorless. However, when I took a close look at it, I noticed that the inside is completely different. Unlike the outside, the inside was very smooth, touchable, and the color was warm. Then, I looked at myself and noticed that the person I am looking at, and the way I behave are totally different. On the outside, I seem like a cold, unemotional, mean person. However, when people get to know me, I am nothing like that; rather, I am very emotional and like to talk to people. Thus, I am someone just like the chestnut burr. Others may judge me as a person who may seem cold and hard to approach to, but once people interact with me, they are able to have fun and see a different person in me.
